DESCRIPTION:Adrian Chalk Tour de France Wine Dinner\n4-Course Dinner paired with Exclusive French Estate Wines\nMonday\, April 28\n7PM\nSOLD OUT \nRenowned NY Wine Expert Adrian Chalk will present some amazing estate wines from France carefully paired with a 4-Course Dinner\,  talk wine\, dine with us and a brief\, fun Q&A Session \nWelcome!\nGonet-Medeville Extra Brut Premier Cru NV\nDry\, perfect aperitif; mainly Chardonnay\, bright and fresh; barrel-fermented.\nWalking caviar\, blini. \nFirst course\nAlphonse Mellot Sancerre « La Moussiere »\nGlorious Sauvignon from a famous\, pure limestone slope\, textured\, ripe and luscious.\nPan roasted halibut cheeks\, sping asparagus\, miso burre blanc\, black truffle. \nSecond course\nDomaine Brusset Rasteau La Bastide\nA very deep crimson colour. A very complex nose of small blackberries with very motivable spice notes. Very powerful in mouth with an excellent lingering\, tannins are there but they are rounded\, harmoniously woody\, good aromatic persistence of sloe and liquorice.\nBreast of Poulet Rouge\, pommes\, fondant\, bacon\, caraflex cabbage\, coq au vin jus. \nThird course\nDomaine Jessiaume Santenay 1er Cru Gravières\nThe nose is beautiful and powerful\, with notes of black fruits. The palate is round and mouth watering with a beautiful energy. The tannins are present but remain elegant. Harvesting & sorting done by hand.\nFilet\, braised beef cheek\, escargot\, kohlrabi puree \nDessert\nChateau les Justices (sister wine of Gilette) Sauternes\nLate harvest Semillon\, picked over several weeks\, berry by berry\, then fermented and aged in stainless steel.\nCaneles
